Nigerian musician Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour N’abania, has expressed his admiration for the youth team programme initiated by Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Rangers International FC. The Flying Antelopes launched the U-10, U-13, and U-15 academicals initiative last year, aimed at discovering and nurturing young football talents.
Flavour, a well-known supporter of the Enugu-based club, commended the initiative and pledged to contribute to its success.
“I’m really impressed with the youth team programme that Rangers initiated for the discovery and development of young talents within the state and beyond,” Flavour told NPFL. “I love it and will contribute my quota towards making it a huge success.”
Rangers’ youth team programme is part of the club’s broader efforts to invest in grassroots football development. The initiative aligns with the NPFL Youth League, in which Rangers participated last year, providing a platform for young players to showcase their skills and progress through the ranks.
DAILY MENTOR reports that Flavour’s endorsement and commitment to supporting the programme highlight the importance of private sector involvement in sports development. His contribution is expected to boost the initiative, offering more opportunities for young talents to thrive and potentially represent the club at higher levels.
The Rangers youth team programme has already garnered attention for its focus on nurturing future stars, and with Flavour’s support, it is poised to achieve even greater success. The initiative reflects the club’s dedication to building a sustainable football ecosystem and fostering the next generation of Nigerian footballers.
