Injured National Assembly Staff Receives N25 Million Compensation from Social Insurance Trust Fund

Abuja, March 11, 2025 – A staff member of the National Assembly who sustained injuries while on duty has been awarded N25 million in compensation by the Social Insurance Trust Fund. The compensation comes as part of the fund's commitment to supporting employees who suffer work-related injuries or disabilities.

The beneficiary, whose identity was not disclosed, was injured during the course of their official duties. The Social Insurance Trust Fund, which provides financial assistance to workers in such situations, approved the compensation after a thorough review of the case.
