Actress Commends Kogi Senator for Standing Against Alleged Harassment, Declares Her "Woman Crush Wednesday"
Nigerian actress Kate Henshaw has lauded Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, for her bravery amid her ongoing dispute with Senate President Godswill Akpabio. The controversy began on February 20, 2025, when the two senators clashed during a plenary session over seating arrangements, leading to Natasha being referred to the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions for alleged disorderly conduct.
In an interview on Arise Television, Natasha accused Akpabio of targeting her after she rejected his alleged sexual advances. On March 5, 2025, she submitted a formal sexual harassment petition against the Senate president during plenary.
Reacting to the development, Henshaw took to her Instagram page to celebrate Natasha as her "Woman Crush Wednesday" (WCW), praising her for challenging outdated narratives about women’s roles in society.

Do you not know that in nearly all species, the female is much more deadly than the male? We are the offspring of countless women warriors!”
