Nollywood actor Ganiyu Kehinde Morufu, popularly known as Ijoba Lande, has opened up about the painful details of his failed marriage, alleging that his estranged wife, Muyibat, had extramarital affairs with several men in the entertainment industry. The comic actor, in a recent video shared on his YouTube page, expressed fears for his safety if he were to expose the identities of these men, claiming some of them are well-connected.
Marital Struggles and Allegations
Lande recounted how his ex-wife allegedly denied him intimacy while engaging in affairs with other men. He described the emotional toll her actions took on him, stating that she deliberately provoked him but he refrained from reacting violently.
“Before my wife moved out of the house, she showed me hell. She would deliberately provoke me to beat her, but I never did. It is not easy for a man to beat a woman he loves. Despite everything she did to me, I didn’t want her to leave, so I endured,” Lande said.
Claims of Infidelity
The actor claimed that his wife’s behavior extended beyond infidelity, citing an incident at their child’s naming ceremony where she allegedly danced provocatively with a male friend.
“My wife, who used to tell me her hormones were not working whenever I asked for sex, was suddenly having high hormones for other men outside. I will always fear women. I have not had sex with my wife in eight months. At my child’s naming ceremony, my wife’s male friend came. They danced together to the extent that he tapped my wife on her butt,” he revealed.
Fear of Retaliation
Lande expressed concerns about his safety, stating that exposing the identities of the men involved could put his life at risk.
“If I begin to list those who have slept with my wife in this industry, I might not make it home before they come after me, because some of them are well-connected,” he said.
