Nigerian singer Davido has threatened popular social media commentator Radiogad for criticizing his forthcoming album, 5ive. DAILY MENTOR recalls that Radiogad had expressed disapproval of the album while commenting on the second snippet released by Davido.
In his critique, Radiogad questioned the quality of the song and advised Davido to quit music. This did not sit well with the singer, who took to Radiogad’s Direct Messages (DM) to issue a threat.
In a leaked chat shared on X (formerly Twitter), Davido accused Radiogad of undermining a project he worked hard on and demanded that the social commentator delete the video review. The singer also warned Radiogad to stop posting about him, vowing to deal with him if he continued.
Radiogad, however, stood his ground and shared the video of their conversation on his X handle. He called on the public to hold Davido accountable if anything happened to him or his family.
He wrote: “Davido came into my DM last night and threatened to kpai (kill) me. Guys, if anything happens to me or my family, make una know say na Davido run am. As a social commentator, I have the right and freedom to express my views on social media, and I’m not scared of anyone. Just thought I should let you guys know. Evidence of his messages is attached in this post.”
