LAGOS, Nigeria – Controversial social media personality Bobrisky has publicly criticized singer 2Baba's decision to pursue a relationship with Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, following his split from his estranged wife, Annie Idibia.
Bobrisky voiced his displeasure in an Instagram live session, stating that 2Baba should have "upgraded" to someone "prettier, sexier, and cuter" after leaving Annie. He also referred to Natasha as a "Mary Amaka," a term used to suggest someone is outdated or lacks style.
"I understand 2Face, he left Annie Idibia… but if you’re going to leave your woman, at least upgrade! You should leave her for someone prettier, sexier, and cuter," Bobrisky said. "I don’t understand that ‘Mary Amaka’ they are carrying up and down. I saw their video two days ago, and I was just confused. The girl has four different faces! Today she looks one way, tomorrow another. The girl weak me."
2Baba recently proposed to Natasha in a video, which surfaced shortly after he publicly announced his separation from Annie. Natasha has since updated her Instagram name to include "Idibia," fueling speculation that the couple has secretly married. Annie has reverted to her maiden name, "Macaulay."
Bobrisky's remarks have sparked debate online, with some agreeing with his sentiment, while others have accused him of body-shaming Natasha. Neither 2Baba nor Natasha have responded to the controversial comments. The drama has left fans speculating about the future relationships of 2Baba, Annie, and Natasha.
