Iran Warns US Strikes on Nuclear Sites Will Have “Everlasting Consequences”

Following the US airstrikes on Iran’s key nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, Iranian officials have condemned the attacks as a “dangerous military operation” with “everlasting consequences.” Iran’s top diplomat defended the country’s right to a “legitimate response in self-defense,” emphasizing that the strikes violate international law and undermine ongoing diplomatic efforts.

US President Donald Trump announced the successful execution of the strikes, claiming the Iranian nuclear sites were “completely and fully obliterated.” The operation involved B-2 stealth bombers deploying massive bunker-busting bombs designed to penetrate the heavily fortified underground facilities, especially the Fordow enrichment site.

Iran acknowledged the attacks but insisted that strategic materials had been moved to secure locations in advance, minimizing damage. Iranian officials warned that the nation “reserves all options” to respond and cautioned that any further aggression would escalate the conflict.

The strikes mark a significant escalation in the Israel-Iran conflict, with Israel coordinating closely with the US. In retaliation, Iran launched missile attacks targeting Israel, and Israel responded with further airstrikes on Iranian military sites.

The situation remains tense, with fears of a broader regional war growing as both sides prepare for possible further confrontations.
