Speaking about the Jubilee of Hope event, Obi explained that the gathering was designed to bring wealthy Nigerians together to serve the less privileged, symbolizing true leadership as an act of service. He noted that the event was private and not intended for publicity, with photos and videos shared by third parties.
Obi dismissed claims that his actions were politically motivated, stating, “The Jubilee of Hope is designed for the rich to come down from their high places, even if just for a moment, and serve the poor, not as a show, but as a symbol of the society we must build.”
He also shared that when guests visit his home, he personally serves them, underscoring his deep commitment to humility and service as core personal values.
