Udinese Demand €15 Million for Super Eagles Goalkeeper Maduka Okoye Amid Transfer Interest

Italian Serie A club Udinese are demanding €15 million for Nigerian international goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, according to transfer expert Ekrem Konur. Udinese have reportedly offered Okoye to Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray, though negotiations remain at an early stage. Other clubs showing interest include English side Bournemouth, Italian clubs Inter Milan and Torino.

Okoye, 25, joined Udinese in 2023 from Watford and made 25 league appearances last season. However, the club is keen to offload him following his referral to the Italian disciplinary commission last month over allegations of sporting fraud, which could result in a four-year ban if proven.

The Nigerian shot-stopper has a strong record for the Super Eagles, having kept 8 clean sheets in 16 appearances, and is viewed as a key player for the national team’s future. Udinese’s asking price reflects his growing reputation despite the disciplinary issues currently clouding his career.
