At the ongoing 73rd Annual International Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), themed “The Overcomers,” General Overseer Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye shared a personal prophecy about his death. He stated that he envisions dying on a Sunday, shortly after attending church service, dancing joyfully, returning home, eating his beloved meal of pounded yam, and then passing away peacefully without any illness.
Adeboye emphasized that death does not always come after prolonged sickness and that his departure would be sudden and painless. He first shared this vision two years ago and reiterated it to reassure believers that a peaceful death is possible for those in Christ.
During his sermon titled “Possess Your Possessions,” he encouraged believers to actively claim their spiritual blessings, including healing, prosperity, long life, and fruitfulness, while warning that such blessings often require spiritual effort and perseverance.
This prediction has attracted significant attention and reflects his faith in a peaceful transition, reassuring his congregation about the nature of death for faithful Christians.
