Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has hailed his side’s 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Old Trafford on Saturday as a “big result.”
Fernandes marked two significant personal milestones during the match: his 200th Premier League appearance and his 100th goal for Manchester United in all competitions.
Reacting on X (formerly Twitter), Fernandes wrote: “Big result and performance. Very happy to make my 200th appearance in the @premierleague and score my 100th goal for the club.”
The victory came through goals from Fernandes himself and Casemiro, ensuring Ruben Amorim’s side secured crucial three points.
Following the win, Manchester United moved up to 10th position in the Premier League standings.
