Taylor Swift Assures Fans: Marriage Won't End My Music Career

Global pop icon Taylor Swift has dispelled rumors that she will quit music following her upcoming marriage to NFL star Travis Kelce. During an interview with BBC Radio 2’s Scott Mills, Swift described the speculation as "shockingly offensive," emphasizing that marriage is not a reason for her to stop pursuing her passion for music.

Swift explained that she and Kelce share a mutual love and respect for their careers, with each supporting the other’s fulfillment in their respective fields. She said, "I love the person that I am with because he loves what I do, and he loves how much I am fulfilled by making art and making music."

The singer recently released her 12th studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl," which has received significant attention online following its release on October 3, 2025. Despite fan worries that her engagement and future family plans might mean retirement from music, Swift firmly rejected those notions, stating, "It's not why people get married, so they can quit their jobs."
