The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) reduced petrol prices at its outlets, dropping to N835 per litre in Abuja from N915, a N80 cut observed on Thursday.
In Lagos, NNPCL stations adjusted to N840 per litre from N875, a N35 reduction, following Dangote Refinery's gantry price drop to N699 per litre that spurred broader competition.
Other marketers like MRS now sell at N739 per litre, AA Rano at N840, and Bovas at N865 in Abuja, easing consumer burdens as depots align prices between N702.50 and N820 nationwide.
