Akwa Ibom Governor Umo Eno Declares Tinubu Will Complete Two Terms, Says No Force Can Stop Him

In a bold statement, Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno has affirmed that President Bola Tinubu will serve his full two terms of eight years, insisting that nothing neither opposition nor external forces can prevent him from completing his tenure. Eno made this declaration during the flag-off of the Akwa Ibom section of the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway project on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

Despite being elected on the platform of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Eno expressed unwavering support for President Tinubu, who is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). He emphasized that Tinubu’s leadership is vital for Nigeria’s progress and assured that he and others will stand by him to ensure he completes his constitutional tenure.

Eno’s comments come amid ongoing political debates about the 2027 presidential election and the future direction of Nigeria’s leadership. He stated, “Tinubu will complete his two terms of eight years, no mountain, no forces will stop him,” adding that “we will not allow evil to stop him.” The governor also called for unity and support for Tinubu’s administration, praying for his good health to continue the work he has started.

This declaration aligns with similar sentiments expressed by other political figures in Nigeria, who believe Tinubu’s presidency will endure despite opposition plans and political maneuvering. Eno’s stance signals a strong endorsement of Tinubu’s leadership and a firm belief in his ability to finish his constitutional term, regardless of political challenges or opposition efforts.

As Nigeria approaches the 2027 elections, Eno’s remarks add to the ongoing discourse about the country’s leadership trajectory, with many observers watching closely to see how political alliances and public support will shape the nation’s future.
