Elected Leaders Who Criticize Their Predecessors Are Lazy, Corrupt: Okezie Ikpeazu

Former Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has criticized elected leaders who focus on criticizing their predecessors, labeling them as lazy and corrupt.

Ikpeazu made these remarks during a keynote lecture in Abuja, emphasizing that effective leaders should build upon the achievements of their predecessors rather than solely criticizing them.

Ikpeazu stated that leaders who begin their tenure by disparaging their predecessors are not genuinely working in the public interest. Instead, they should identify and build on the good works of those who came before them.
