Saudi Club Al-Ahli Considering Move for Leicester City's Wilfred Ndidi

Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli is seriously considering signing Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi from Leicester City this summer. Due to Leicester’s relegation to the Championship, Ndidi has a release clause allowing him to leave for around £9 million (€9 million), which is attracting strong interest.

Al-Ahli faces competition from several European clubs, including Manchester United, Everton, Juventus, and Real Betis, but the offer from Saudi Arabia is financially enticing.

Ndidi, who joined Leicester in 2017 from Genk and has two years left on his contract, is reportedly open to a move to the Saudi Pro League. The Saudi club seeks midfield reinforcements and views Ndidi’s quality as a valuable addition to their squad.

Leicester City would prefer to keep Ndidi to aid their push for promotion, but the pull of a lucrative contract in Saudi Arabia might be significant as Ndidi approaches 29 years old this year.
