Eberechi Eze, the talented 27-year-old midfielder for Crystal Palace, is close to securing a transfer to Arsenal this summer. Eze showcased impressive form as Crystal Palace triumphed over Liverpool on penalties to win the 2025 Community Shield.
Eze has been linked with Arsenal for most of the summer transfer window. Since joining Crystal Palace in 2020, he has developed into one of the Premier League’s top playmakers. Arsenal reportedly plans to pay around £55 million for Eze, including an upfront payment of £30 million.
However, Crystal Palace is hesitant to let Eze leave until they have signed a suitable replacement. Meanwhile, Arsenal has strengthened its squad by adding experienced players such as goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, midfielder Christian Norgaard, winger Noni Madueke from Chelsea, and defender Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia.
This move would mark a significant addition for Arsenal as they continue to bolster their squad after their Community Shield win.
