The Federal Government of Nigeria has awarded Nafisah Abdullahi, the winner of the TeenEagle Global Finals English competition, a sum of N200,000. The prize was presented by the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, at a ceremony held in Abuja.
Nafisah Abdullahi, a 17-year-old from Borno State, stood out in the competition for her exceptional command of the English language, critical thinking, and articulation skills, surpassing participants from 69 countries.
The award is part of a broader recognition including fully-funded scholarships from the Atiku Foundation for Nafisah and other TeenEagle champions for their outstanding global performance in various categories.
This achievement marks a significant accomplishment in the academic and language skills arena for Nigerian youths.
