The issue affected several subjects Mathematics, English Language, Biology, and Economics where WAEC had introduced a new paper serialization system aimed at curbing examination malpractice.

WAEC has apologized to all affected candidates and the public, urging candidates who checked their results earlier to re-check after 24 hours from the announcement.

The Federal Ministry of Education confirmed the resolution and praised WAEC for its prompt and transparent handling, assuring the public of continued commitment to credible, fair, and transparent examination processes.

Candidates are encouraged to revisit the portal to view updated results after the 24-hour correction period.
