The Nigerian Red Cross Society (NRCS) has successfully trained 314 supervisors and data officers in Kano State as part of preparations for the ongoing measles-rubella vaccination campaign. The training aims to strengthen coordination, data management, and supervision to curb the spread of measles and rubella among children in the region.
The exercise is critical given Nigeria's ongoing efforts to combat measles outbreaks, with Kano being one of the high-risk states reporting frequent cases. Effective supervision and accurate data handling are essential components of the vaccination campaign's success.
