Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, has criticized former presidential candidate Peter Obi for frequently switching political parties.
Bwala recalled that Obi had vowed his family would die if he ever left the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), yet Obi later defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and subsequently to the Labour Party.
Speaking on a podcast with Nedu WAZOBIA, Bwala highlighted that most Nigerian politicians have changed parties at least three times, and advised addressing such politicians only after winning elections.
Bwala accused Peter Obi of lacking genuine interest in the welfare of Nigerians, alleging that Obi's donations were minimal and conditional.
He mocked Obi’s contributions in regions like the Northwest and Northcentral, describing inadequate infrastructural projects such as boreholes that were not impactful.
Bwala also condemned Obi’s frequent party changes and labeled him as focused on personal political gain rather than national development.
