The All Progressives Congress (APC) reaffirmed confidence that Nigeria will surmount its security challenges, condemning opposition parties for "amplifying fear" to discredit President Bola Tinubu’s government. Lagos APC spokesperson Seye Oladejo highlighted ongoing military and police operations dismantling hostile networks, coupled with increased community cooperation and significant measures including a state of emergency declaration and plans to recruit 50,000 new police personnel.
Oladejo criticized political actors allegedly spreading unrest narratives abroad to solicit foreign intervention but affirmed Nigeria's sovereignty would remain intact and touted Tinubu’s hands-on leadership in driving a national security renaissance.
The APC attributed current citizen difficulties to transitional economic reforms dismantling corrupt cartels and restoring investment confidence, urging Nigerians to trust the administration and dismiss saboteurs’ destabilization attempts.
