Rev. Dachomo Accuses Tinubu-Shettima Muslim Leadership of Enabling Genocide Against Christians

Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Plateau State, has accused President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima of overseeing a "complete genocide" against Christians under Muslim-led governance. Dachomo, who recently raised alarms over a Boko Haram bounty on his head after conducting over 70 mass burials for attack victims, claims the administration's inaction amid escalating violence reveals deliberate targeting of Christian communities.

The cleric pointed to relentless assaults by Fulani militants and extremists in Benue, Plateau, and other northern regions, including the massacre of 501 in Dogolawa and hundreds more in Yelewata, as evidence of state complicity through infiltrated security forces. He vowed to pursue international justice, rejecting ransom payments and affirming his readiness for martyrdom to expose what he calls government-backed persecution.

This fiery rhetoric intensifies national debates on insecurity, with calls for probes into military failures and protection for farming communities amid over 450,000 displacements.
