Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara described his defection from PDP to APC as a "spiritual assignment" to align the state with President Bola Tinubu's direction for stability and development.
Fubara received his APC membership card from state chairman Tony Okocha at Government House, Port Harcourt, stressing seamless federal cooperation and support for Tinubu's 2027 re-election in Rivers.
He pledged to strengthen APC structures, keep the party active, and meet all its needs amid his feud with ex-governor Nyesom Wike, vowing to secure Rivers' future through this alignment.
