Oba Akanbi shared, “Nigeria is going to be best too, but right now, Canada is the best country in the world, believe me.” His statement reflects both his personal appreciation for Canada and an optimistic vision for Nigeria’s future progress.
The passport renewal comes amid Nigeria’s recent increase in international passport fees, with the Nigerian Immigration Service announcing new charges of N100,000 for a 32-page booklet and N200,000 for a 64-page booklet.
