Fubara Celebrating Peace of Graveyard' - Rufai Oseni Criticizes Rivers Governor

Arise Television’s Morning Show anchor, Rufai Oseni, has criticized Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara over his recent statement following his return after a six-month suspension.

Oseni suggested on his social media, X, that Fubara has been bullied and subdued amid the political tensions in the state.

In his post, Oseni wrote: “Fubara is celebrating peace of the graveyard, after he has been bullied and subdued. Peace is better than war he says, play back all his tapes for him.”

The comment comes in response to Fubara’s statewide broadcast on Friday, where the Governor urged residents to reflect on the lessons of the six-month emergency rule imposed by President Bola Tinubu.

Fubara stated, “The costliest peace is cheaper than the cheapest war,” emphasizing that he cooperated with Tinubu’s government and resisted pressures to legally challenge the constitutionality of the emergency rule.

He framed his cooperation as a measure to safeguard peace, stability, and progress in Rivers State.
