Eyewitness accounts confirm that none of the occupants survived as their vehicle was completely flattened by the heavy-duty truck.
The gruesome accident, captured in a video rapidly circulating online, has intensified public scrutiny over the conduct of Dangote Group drivers on Nigeria’s highways. This latest incident comes just days after the death of Ruth, sister of ex-Big Brother Naija winner Phyna, resulting from injuries sustained in another crash involving a Dangote truck. Following her accident, Dangote Group management had reportedly been making arrangements to fly her abroad for medical treatment before her passing.
Prominent activist VeryDarkMan has since mobilized public pressure, criticizing what he describes as the reckless behavior of Dangote truck drivers. He further alleged that the driver responsible for Ruth’s accident lacked a valid license.
