Celebrity Nigerian UK-based pastor Tobi Adegboyega has provided an update on his health following cancer surgery.
The founder of the now-defunct SPAC Nation church spoke openly about his recovery journey in a video posted online, revealing he is preparing to start chemotherapy as the next phase of treatment.
Adegboyega acknowledged the difficulty of his battle with cancer but expressed courage in facing the reality.
“This is proof of life. I’m alive and I’m recovering. I have gone through the surgery, and then there is the chemotherapy treatment afterwards,” he said.
He noted that telling Nigerians about his diagnosis often invites rebuke, but he accepted it and confronted the illness with strength.
“When you tell Nigerians this, they will say it’s not your portion in Jesus’ name, but it was my portion and I have faced it like a man should,” Adegboyega stated.
He also expressed gratitude for the prayers and support he has received from the public.
