Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has hailed the return of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to the Nigerian Senate as a victory for unity, justice, and democratic principles over tyranny and suppression.
Atiku praised the resilience and determination of Akpoti-Uduaghan, who was suspended for six months by the Senate following an allegation of sexual harassment against Senate President Godswill Akpabio. Her suspension was later declared unconstitutional and excessive by a Federal High Court in Abuja, which ordered her immediate reinstatement.
In a statement, Atiku affirmed that her return to the Senate sends a powerful message that unity and justice can overcome oppression, encouraging all Nigerians to stand against tyrannical forces.
