Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has revealed a harrowing episode from his past involving illicit drug addiction that nearly cost him his life. During a candid conversation on the Tea With Tay podcast, he disclosed that while studying at the University of Lagos, he indulged in illicit drugs and suffered a near-fatal overdose.

Recalling the incident, Odumodublvck explained that he called his mother to book a flight for him to return to Abuja as he battled the overdose. He affirmed that after this close brush with death, he only used drugs once more before quitting completely. The rapper expressed profound gratitude for surviving the ordeal, recognizing that not everyone who falls into drug abuse is fortunate enough to escape its grip.

Odumodublvck used the platform to warn young people against illicit substance consumption, highlighting the devastating impact of drug addiction on countless lives.
