Nigerian music legend 2Face Idibia has dismissed rumors of his arrest in London following an alleged altercation with his wife, Natasha Osawaru. The speculation emerged after the singer missed a UK tour performance scheduled for October 2, 2025, and social media reports suggested he was detained on domestic violence grounds.
In a video statement posted on Instagram, 2Face appeared alongside his wife and friends, laughing off the arrest claims. He explained that the real reason for missing the show was a medical emergency, describing the situation as “tough” and thanking fans and organizers for their understanding and support.
“Please, if una no sabi something, make una no talk abeg. This allegedly, I don tire,” he said, addressing false rumors circulating online.
2Face and Natasha Osawaru, a Deputy Majority Leader in the Edo State House of Assembly, recently held their traditional wedding in July 2025 after his separation from former wife Annie Macaulay. The couple is reportedly expecting their first child.
